Free Virtual Author Talks for Schools

As part of the InspiREAD Book Award, we are delighted to be inviting your primary school to join us for 9 FREE virtual events with shortlisted authors and illustrators – hooray! 

These virtual author talks will give pupils a fantastic opportunity to; engage with reading, meet the authors and ask their own questions!

 The events are taking place on various days, w/c 17th and 24th June 2024 at either 10am or 2pm. Each talk will last around 30-40 minutes. 

Not participating in InspiREAD Book Award? Schools are still welcome to attend these wonderful events! 

Schools need to register in advance to take part. 

When registering for these events, please ensure: 

  • There will be a member of staff present with pupils during each event; 
  •  Staff registering for the events must use their school email address (personal email addresses are not allowed).
