On 21 November 2022, Inspire Youth Arts held a film showcase at the Odeon Cinema in Mansfield to display the latest films produced by talented young people they have been working with, all on the theme of the environment.
The event was in partnership with Miner2Major, a five-year Landscape Partnership scheme supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
2022 marks 25 years of the Inspire Youth Arts team! This film is a celebration of all the fantastic dance, digital and music projects that have inspired young people to achieve their potential over the last 25 years.
This film scripted, filmed and animated by a group of young film makers with its accompanying soundtrack composed and performed by Inspire Youth Arts soundtrack ensemble, brings an intriguing new perspective on Sherwood Forest, taking us from a drone's eye view to a journey of underground discovery, immersing us in the unseen connections of the hidden forest.
The multi-award-winning Able Orchestra brings you Immersion, featuring guest artists such as virtuoso Control One player Jess Fisher and players from the Sinfonia Viva Orchestra. This piece was created using inspiration from audio and visual recordings at one of Nottinghamshire’s finest heritage locations, Papplewick Pumping Station. Inspire Youth Arts Soundtrack Ensemble perform Tabula Rasa at the Metronome in Nottingham as part of Soundstages Festival, commissioned by the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham.
