More opportunities to be inspired at West Bridgford Library

Following a review at West Bridgford Library, Inspire are pleased to announce that opening hours will be extended to allow for more opportunities to enjoy reading, learning, and culture.

With effect from Monday 28 April, opening hours will increase from 55 hours per week to 60 per week.

The new opening hours are as follows:

Monday 8:30am - 6pm
Tuesday 8:30am - 7pm
Wednesday 8:30am - 6pm
Thursday 8:30am - 6pm
Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
Saturday 9am - 4pm
Sunday 10:30am - 3:30pm

West Bridgford Library

West Bridgford Library is a vibrant hub of activity for all ages:

  • Youngest visitors can enjoy singing along at Rattle, Rhyme and Roll every Tuesday and Friday morning
  • Over 4's and their parents can spend time building together at monthly Lego Club
  • Adults can brew new friendships at the popular Places of Welcome coffee morning, as well as reading groups, and a monthly Let's Talk Tech group which offers friendly support and guidance in using digital devices and the internet.
  • Opportunities to learn new skills such as: Ikebana Japanese Flower Arranging, or Excel Spreadsheets. The full programme of courses can be found in the full course guide.
  • Be inspired by author visits, including Kathy Slack as she discuss the feelings and emotions behind her latest book Rough Patch: How a Year in the Garden Brought Me Back to Life

Outside of regular opening hours, all members of Nottinghamshire libraries can enjoy benefits of their membership from home. Inspire's eResources make it easier than ever to experience new worlds and find information at their fingertips.
