It’s a brand-new year, with brand new opportunities at Inspire Adult Learning.

If you’re hoping to take the next step in your career, or just want to gain new skills, our FREE functional skills courses in maths, English and IT will boost your employability, your job prospects and your confidence. 

Develop useful everyday skills that will help you support your child with their homework, writing letters and emails, shopping smarter to save money and more! These recognised qualifications can enhance your CV, improve your confidence and set you up for further study.

Our courses run online or in-person at Inspire Libraries across Nottinghamshire, with dedicated and personalised support from our friendly tutors to help you work towards your qualification at a level that is right for you. All courses are broken down into accessible units, with homework to complete and an exam at the end to earn your qualification. 

A learner who recently completed their Functional Skills Maths course told us: “I am truly grateful for your tutorials and support. I am indeed very happy, it was a lovely experience and I received my Mathematics Certificate this afternoon - I cannot thank you enough!”

As well as qualifications in maths and English we’ve got a whole range of level 1 and 2 courses that are fully or part funded that will give you the skills you need, to get the job you want. Courses starting throughout February include word processing, time management, volunteering and stress awareness.

Approved by a professional awarding body, our accredited courses can make you more desirable to employers, whether that’s being offered a better salary, the chance of promotion, or just getting your foot in the door.
