Maths anxiety can cause worry and limitations in various aspects of everyday life – whether that be helping your child with their homework, budgeting, or general problem-solving.
Multiply courses with Inspire Learning are designed to make maths that bit less scary, with practical sessions and plenty of support to build your confidence. Multiply courses can be a valuable resource in overcoming number-related worries and unlocking your full potential!
If you’re aged 19+ and do not already have a GCSE at grade C (or equivalent) in maths, or are not confident using maths at this level, Multiply is available to you.
Our Multiply courses require varying levels of commitment so you can be sure to find one that fits around your day-to-day life. Whether you are looking for a casual drop-in session or an accredited course such as a Level 2 Functional Skills Qualification, our friendly tutors are here to support you.
Multiply courses run across Nottinghamshire – including at our designated Library and Learning Centres in Kirkby-in-Ashfield and Stapleford. Find courses in core maths skills as well as more applied approaches such as making your money stretch, helping your child with primary maths and even cooking tips.
Surrounding yourself with others who share the same number worries as you along with support from your tutor will not only enhance your maths skills but also build your confidence in using numbers in a practical context in the future.
To find out more, find a drop-in session or book onto an activity, visit inspireculture.org.uk/multiply or call 01623 677 200.
Inspire tutors put in real time and effort to ensure that I
understand the maths I’m being taught. Not only that, I’ve been able to learn
more English and apply it to the maths we learn on this course.
