On Saturday 7th October, the hugely successful Fun Palace returned to Worksop Library, bringing a variety of free and fun activities!
Fun Palaces is a free, nationwide campaign for culture at the heart of community and community at the heart of culture, which happens every year in October.
This was the 6th time Worksop Library has hosted the Fun Palace, which is now well established in Bassetlaw's events calendar and continues to attract new and returning visitors.
Just over 1800 people came through the doors this year to try out different arts, science, health and heritage activities delivered by local community groups and organisations.
A massive thank you to everyone who took part and helped to make it another amazing event!
Visitors enjoyed:
“It was the busiest event I have been to for a long time. Thought there was a
lovely atmosphere too.”
“My wife and I accompanied by our granddaughter attended
the fun day on Saturday. It was excellent. Packed with exciting things to see
and do. All the young people singing and playing instruments it was
great. My granddaughter loved it and so did we.”
Save the date - Fun Palace will return to Worksop Library on 5 October 2024!
