With anxiety being the focus of this year's Mental Health Awareness Week, it's important to recognise that everyone experiences anxiety at some point in their lives. However, when anxiety becomes overwhelming and unmanageable, it can lead to serious mental health issues.
By shedding light on anxiety and providing information on prevention techniques, we can increase awareness and understanding of these common mental health issues.
This week serves as an opportunity for all of us to reflect on our own mental health and well-being, as well as to learn how we can support those around us who may be struggling.
It's crucial to tackle the stigma surrounding mental health and work towards creating a society that prioritises mental health and well-being. By doing so, we can ensure that everyone has access to the resources and support they need to maintain good mental health.
This year the week takes place on the 15th - 12th of May, you can find resources on the Mental Health Foundation's Website and tips on how to cope with anxiety.
