Watch your small business grow with Inspire libraries!

Published 27th November 2022

Whether you're looking to turn a hobby into a money-maker, or have a small enterprise you're wanting to grow, our libraries along with Business & IP Centre Nottinghamshire can help.

Recent weeks have seen successful markets at Sutton in Ashfield and Mansfield libraries, featuring stallholders benefitting from support from Business & IP Centre Nottinghamshire. BIPC provide free business support to start-up business owners, entrepreneurs, and inventors with events, opportunities and one-to-one support - all in your local library!

Kitty Clifford, owner and founder of Squidge and Chomp bakery, has been working with our BIPC advisor at Sutton in Ashfield Library. She told us how the support has been invaluable to her business growth alongside her family life:

Kitty Clifford stood behind her stall at Sutton in Ashfield Library's market with cakes, blondies and brownies on display.

I've really found it useful being able to come into my local library to speak to them, to get advice from them, it's a brilliant resource. I've been able to come with my family and my children, they've been able to go off and play while I've spoken to the guy that's been helping me. It's just been really great to get some helpful information and make contacts.
