There’s a huge range of subjects available in Mansfield – from recognised qualifications in Maths, IT, science and English, to local history, languages, music and arts and crafts. At Newark Library, there’s courses available in mental health awareness, English as a Second Language (ESOL), maths functional skills, yoga for osteoporosis and more!
As an Ofsted registered Grade 2 'Good' provider, as well as winner of the 2020 Tes FE Award for Community Learning Provider of the Year, you’ll enjoy a fun, friendly, high-quality learning experience. For those who need more flexibility, there’s online and distance learning courses, designed for you to learn from the comfort of your own home. Depending on your circumstances, many courses will be free or low-cost, with accredited courses fully funded for those in receipt of certain benefits.
Many of our courses will be taking place at our brand new venue, The Buttermarket, due to open in Newark this autumn. Be one of the first to learn in this beautiful rennovated historic building!
All Inspire learning courses can be booked online, or through ASK inspire. Keep an eye on our website, as there’ll be plenty more new courses added throughout the year.
The importance of community learning in bringing people together, building confidence and supporting people towards further study and employment is key. The lasting impact for our learners that we see time and time again cannot be underestimated.
Inspire has won a number of awards recently for the high quality learning we deliver, so if you’re thinking now’s the time to try something new, drop into your local library to pick up a guide, or browse online.
