You’ll find community and family learning courses and adult funded accredited courses for those aged 19+ as well as college courses for young people aged 16-24.
Our community and family learning courses are held at your local library or community venue, and because we want to make sure as many people as possible can access our fantastic courses, we also offer many courses online, so you can join from the comfort of your own home, via Zoom.
Many courses are short enough to try something new without a huge commitment. They’re informal, fun and friendly, and you don’t need any prior skills or qualifications.
Courses are low cost or free* if you’re in receipt of eligible benefits and our adult funded courses are offered on a fully or part funded basis providing an affordable way to add accredited qualifications to your cv.
Brush up on basic skills and knowledge in science, technology/ICT, engineering, maths and English, discover a new hobby or interest, improve your health and wellbeing, or develop your skills for employment. You can even get free careers and benefits advice.
Learn a new language, experiment with art, get creative with writing, crafts or photography or get fit and flexible.
You can also learn whilst spending quality time with the family with our family learning courses**. They’re fun and free for all the family!
Our college courses for young people aged 16-24 prepare young people not only for the world of work and further education but for life!
We’re proud of our above average GCSE resits pass rate and young people can choose from level 1, 2 and 3 AIM Awards or City and Guilds qualifications. Young people can also earn up to £100 a month for studying with us!
