Inspire Youth Arts (IYA) is seeking young dancers aged 11-17 years with exceptional talent and potential in dance to join Nottinghamshire Contemporary Youth Dance Company (NCYDC) from October 2021.
The group takes part in weekly contemporary and choreography technique sessions, held at The Old Library, Mansfield, and work towards performance opportunities throughout the year. The company aims to train young dancers in contemporary dance, enabling them to work creatively and perform at regional and national dance platforms.
The sessions support Dance 4’s Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) programme and young people living in Nottinghamshire and interested in CAT are encouraged to join NCYDC in order to gain more knowledge and experience within contemporary dance.
IYA is holding auditions for the company on the Tuesday 5 October at 6pm at The Old Library, Leeming Street, Mansfield. To apply, download an application form below and return iy by 12noon on Monday 4 October to sam.holgate-davey@inspireculture.org.uk
