Explore your local library, sign up to become a member, found out what’s on and be inspired by our fantastic programme of courses for Autumn 2021.
You’ll find a different programme of free activities at each participating library. Choose from friendly tutor-led taster sessions such as Italian, crafts, creative writing, maths, IT, sport, CPR and family learning, or fun library activities such as Rattle Rhyme Roll and story time.
Get information about our new Autumn programme of adult and family learning featuring both online and face-to-face courses, or talk to tutors about IT, maths, English and ESOL, and check the right level of course for you. Courses are low cost or free if you’re in receipt of certain benefits.
If you’re looking to progress your career or up-skill, come and talk to us about our superb range of accredited career-boosting courses. We have courses in volunteering, teaching, health, social care or counselling, and business and management. Some even have funding available so your course could be fully or part funded.
Find out about our fantastic college courses for young people and our specialist bases across the county where we welcome school leavers to our study programmes and traineeships.
We offer Level 1, 2 and 3 AIM Awards or City & Guilds qualifications in a range of subjects including hospitality, IT user skills, bricklaying and construction, painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery, health and social care, and employability, and personal, social development.
All these courses provide GCSE or Functional Skills in Maths and English – and we’ve just celebrated our best GCSE English resit results yet!
