This week sees the premiere of a short animation piece created by Inspire Youth Arts artist, Jess Fisher, in an international collaboration with Brazilian motion designer and 2D animator, Ana Genduso.
Jess, a young musician from Mansfield, was a founding member of the Able Orchestra and worked with music producer Si Tew (Digit Music) on the award-winning Control One, which allows her to manipulate and create her own music and digital projections.
Using a bursary awarded by The Mighty Creatives, the Inspire Youth Arts team helped Jess work on a brief for the project - looking at Jess' superpowers - and connect with the animation artist to create a short film that explores her journey through the current pandemic situation and how music, creativity and technology have helped her deal with it.
The music for the film is also an original piece composed and performed by Jess herself.
