Our partners in the Families Information Service are conducting a customer satisfaction survey until Sunday 31 January and are seeking the views of parents and carers to find out if the service is meeting your needs and how you would like to see the service develop in the future.
The Families Information Service provides a wealth of
information through the Notts Help Yourself website www.nottshelpyourself.org.uk,
their Facebook page www.facebook.com/nottsfis,
and by telephone via the Customer Service Centre (0300 500 8080) to support
parents and carers with:
- Finding quality childcare near to you, with details of childminders, day nurseries, preschools, playgroups and out of school care, the services they offer and the fees they charge
- Details about the childcare funding that is available to support you and your children; funding for children aged 2, 3 and 4 years, tax-free childcare accounts, and the Disability Access Fund to support children with SEND to access childcare
- Advice and guidance to support you with your parenting role; from pregnancy through to starting school and beyond they provide guidance videos, information from early years professionals, links to support services and a range of suggested activities to help stimulate your child’s development and early learning
