Launch: Share Sound Nottinghamshire

This autumn we are thrilled to be launching a brand new inclusive ensemble called Share Sound Nottinghamshire, in partnership with Orchestras Live AND an exciting guest orchestra **update** it's Chineke!

During the Covid19 crisis we have heard about the many challenges of supporting young musicians who have been unable to meet and play together in their usual ensembles.  Our Hub partner Orchestras Live has developed an exciting inclusive ensembles project, Share Sound, open to all abilities to help address this situation. 

‘Share Sound is a structure of online workshops, rehearsals and performance led by a diverse artistic team of music leaders, orchestral musicians and Music Service staff, enabling young people to compose new material and curate an online sharing event, currently scheduled for Summer 2021.’

We are inviting registrations of interest from Nottinghamshire* county based instrumentalists aged under 18 of any ability.
