The library is now housed in
the brand new Cotgrave Hub, which opened to the public on 5th
November, and houses the local health
services, Police and Rushcliffe Borough Council offices. Councillor John Cottee, Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council’s Culture
and Place Committee and Chair of the Inspire Board said, “We are delighted to
be part of this much-needed development in Cotgrave. The presence of the
library in the Cotgrave Hub is integral to us achieving Nottinghamshire County
Council and Inspire’s vision of libraries being at the heart of the community.
We look forward to providing the people of Cotgrave with new opportunities for
reading, learning, community and cultural activity in this new and welcoming
space.”
Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Cabinet
Portfolio Holder for Economic Growth and Business Cllr Andy Edyvean said:
“Assisting key public services such as Inspire’s library services in Cotgrave
was one of the fundamental reasons we created The Cotgrave Hub. We want local
people to access services conveniently and take advantage of the library, our
Community Contact Point, Belvoir Health Group, Rushcliffe Community Voluntary
Service and Nottinghamshire Police all being under one roof.”
