What is this workshop about?
This workshop will explore what it means to actively promote British values in the curriculum.
Who is delivering this workshop?
Following a very successful training day in 2016, we are pleased to welcome Dr Christine Rose to Nottinghamshire to support the development of Inspire and partners.
Christine brings up-to-date knowledge of how to fully integrate and promote equality, diversity and British values. She tailors support and training to precisely match the needs of each client and has worked with over 250 providers, supporting a significant number to achieve outstanding status for E&D at inspection.
Nationally recognised as an expert in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Christine regularly speaks at national and regional events and is the author of an extensive range of briefings, guidance, publications and toolkits. She is lead advisor and consultant to many of the strategic partners she works closely with, including Ofsted, AoC, ETF and AELP.
Who should attend?
Managers and key staff who provide Skills Funding Agency or Education Funding Agency provision. This includes managers and key staff from colleges and third sector providers. Partners and potential partners and providers of Nottinghamshire County Council Community Learning and Skills service are entitled to up to 2 free places.
(Due to high demand, please note that a £25 per head fee will be charged for delegates who book a place and do not attend.)
Please book by Friday 27th January via caroline.ball@inspireculture.org.uk

• examine some sector challenges and case studies of best practice and evaluate your own practice
• recognise the links between promoting Fundamental British values implementing the Prevent duty, safeguarding and integrating equality and diversity
