The Magical Major Oak toured 12 Inspire Libraries throughout March 2023. Aimed at children ages 2 - 4 and their families, we were transported to the legendary world of Maid Marian in this immersive and sensory storytelling experience from Nottingham Playhouse.
We joined Marian as she discovered the wonder of nature, the secrets of the forest and the Magical Major Oak itself!

The Magical Major Oak toured 11 Inspire Libraries throughout November 2023. Aimed at children ages 2 - 4 and their families, we were transported once again to the legendary land of the Magical Major Oak in this immersive and sensory storytelling experience.
The Magical Major Oak: Autumn and the Falling Leaves is another enchanting interactive adventure where children were able to join Marian and her friends on an original and super-special autumnal adventure in the forest, with the nurture and wisdom of the Magical Major Oak guiding their way.

The character of Marian returned to libraries in February and March 2024 with Magical Missions! These playful and interactive workshops for ages 2 - 4 took children on a magical mission far away from Sherwood Forest, with guidance along the way from the Magical Major Oak. Sessions will unleashed children's imaginations and stimulated the senses by using music, movement, puppetry, crafting and sensory play.
Magical Missions! toured Cotgrave, Bingham, West Bridgford, Southwell, Kirby-in-Ashfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Worksop, Retford, Hucknall, Mansfield Central, Arnold and Beeston Libraries.
