Community groups and artists are able to display their work in many of our library galleries across the county. Check out our upcoming exhibitions below:

West Bridgford Exhibition – Paul Lillie Saturday 15 March – Friday 25 April 2025 Visit this exciting exhibition of paintings and drawings by Paul Lillie, a Nottinghamshire based artist who studied at Wimbledon School of Art. His landscape paintings are completed on location in a single day and include many local scenes. The exhibition also includes examples of Paul’s portraiture and features a large-scale multimedia work recently produced during his time as Artist in Residence for Nottingham University Hospitals Trust.

West Bridgford “WB or not WB” - by Robert Abbott Thursday 1 May – Wednesday 21 May 2025 Drop in to our Gallery to see the exciting work of local artist, Robert Abbott. “WB or not WB” is a celebration of West Bridgford as a typical English suburb. The 24 paintings are of locations in West Bridgford as they are today, or as they used to be, reflecting the artist’s recollections of growing up in this area in the 1950s
Worksop .

Smaller libraries also have gallery space you can apply to exhibit in free of charge. All are suitable for wall-based work, with other works considered.
