5 Little Creatives artists are working creatively to help early years' children learn new skills and have multi-sensory creative experiences. Help your little one unleash their creative imagination and develop new skills as they splodge, splat, scribble, squidge and shine!
The Little Creatives workshop programme is continually evolving, and you can expect a different experience with each artist in the team (see below).
We hope the ideas will inspire you to allow your little one to have fun with their own creativity and reach their own conclusions. Instead of making an end-product the sessions are intended to encourage families to enjoy the processes that lead to exploring, discovering and making together.
See your little artist's confidence grow!
There are two sessions on each date at the library venues, simply choose the session time that suits you best, 10am - 10.45am or 11.15am to 12noon and book a FREE place for your little artist. You can book to attend all dates at your nearest library - and why not visit the workshops at another library as well!
(please note the second session will be a repeat of the first).
Sian - designs workshops with a range of original
materials and activities, her ideas fill the room with creativity, movement and
expression. Go wild in Sian’s workshops!
Clare - hosts a range of activities to encourage dexterity, there is fun and surprises with homemade materilas and a creative combination of interesting materials and threading activities.
Edwina - lets minds grow. Investigate mixed media and colour. Feel free to move around the workshop space and create a large-scale expressive art piece in the session.
Amy - brings fascinating sensory play to the workshop where children can experience a range of different materials - from sand to plastics, when these are combined with light and sound a colourful and calming atmosphere is created.
Roma - uses a range of materials to creatively construct new worlds - explore textures, light and create your surroundings.
