Inspire are delighted to announce that Michelle Reader and Leanne Moden are the 2025 Artist and Author in Residence for Inspire!
Michelle Reader is a sculptor based at the Harley Foundation Studios in North Nottinghamshire. She makes sculptures, puppets and installations from recycled materials, and runs lots of recycled art workshops for children and families.
She loves collaborating with theatre companies and artists from other disciplines, making sculptures and props that are playful, characterful and often interactive. Her glittering unicorns inhabited Clock Court for a light trail at Hampton Court Palace, and her Great Wave of waste plastics is part of an exhibition about climate change at the National Space Centre.
