We have a number of dance provisions across Nottinghamshire that cater for all ages 7 - 19 years, and all abilities from beginner through to advanced.

We can support your dance journey by offering you:

Projects Venue Day/Time Cost Description
MX Street Dance Collective The Old Library, Leeming Street, Mansfield Mondays. Beginners 5.30 - 6.30pm, Intermediates 6.30 - 7.30pm, Advanced 7.30 - 9pm. £2 per session Open to young people aged 7 to 19 years. Work with professional choreographer & dancer Jasmine Eccles to learn the various street dance styles and techniques, work on your choreography skills and then perform as a crew at various regional dance events.
Nottinghamshire Contemporary Youth Dance Company (NCYDC) Juniors The Old Library, Leeming Street, Mansfield Tuesdays 5 - 6pm £2 per session Weekly contemporary and choreography technique sessions. Contact iya@inspireculture.org.uk for more details.
Nottinghamshire Contemporary Youth Dance Company (NCYDC) Seniors The Old Library, Leeming Street, Mansfield Tuesdays 6 - 8pm £4 per session Weekly contemporary and choreography technique sessions supporting FABRIC's Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) progrmame. Auditions held throughout the year. Open to young people aged 11 to 18 years.
SANDance Valley Leisure Centre, Worksop Wednesdays 6 - 7.45pm Open to disabled young people aged 11 - 25, No experience necessary just enthusiasm for dance and a willingness to learn new skills. Work with professional choreographers & performers to learn various contemporary dance styles, techniques, and performance skills.
West Bridgford Dance West Bridgford Young People's Centre Wednesdays 5.30 - 6.30pm Work with professional choreographer and dance leader to learn various contemporary dance styles, techniques, and performance skills. Open to any disabled young person aged 13 - 25. No experience necessary, just enthusiasm for dance and willingness to learn new skills.
