Mansfield Central Library are delighted to be hosting a series of dementia friendly screenings of films and musicals.

The Queen's Corgi

The British monarch's (Dame Julie Walters') favorite dog gets lost from the palace and finds himself at a dog fight club. He then begins his long journey to find his way back home.

Showing as part Mansfield Library's Platinum Jubilee programme of celebratory events.

The screenings are particularly suitable for people living with dementia and memory challenges, These relaxed screenings are particularly suitable for people living with dementia and memory challenges, their family and friends but anyone is welcome. Please feel free to talk, sing and move during the screening.  

Doors will open 20 minutes before the screening and there will be a 20 minute interval. We will be sensitive to the audience when it comes to lighting and volume in the auditorium. A quiet room for anyone needing a brief break from the film will be available just outside the auditorium and toilets including an accessible toilet are also just outside the auditorium door.

The auditorium is on the second floor of the building with good lift access.  The second row has accessible steps and there are 6 wheelchair spaces available.
