Use or develop your map reading skills to enjoy exploring some great walks in Nottinghamshire and gain from the health benefits of walking.
All walks will be approx. 4-5 miles. The session will start with a briefing of the route. For anyone interested there will be an opportunity to lead a section of the walk to improve your map reading skills.
Each week will be a different circular walk in Nottinghamshire.
This course is ideal for learners who have attended any of the Inspire Map Reading Courses and want the opportunity for more practice or anyone who enjoys walking for health and wellbeing and wants to explore new walks in the area and develop their map reading skills.
This subsidised course is programmed as part of the Miner2Major Landscape Partnership scheme.

Learners should bring walking boots, suitable clothing and a waterproof is recommended, walking poles are optional. Also bring snack and drink.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
