The M2M scheme aims to reconnect local people to Sherwood Forest’s sense of place, varied landscapes and cultural heritage. In this course, you will be taught how to draw and paint the Sherwood's’ landscape. You will complete several compositions using acrylics. Working from photographs, tuition is provided through a mixture of demonstrations and exercises according to your needs, as well as informal group critiques and discussions, all helping to increase your knowledge and enjoyment of landscape drawing. The course is suitable for beginners or improvers.
By the end of the course you will complete at least one painting on canvas. You will become more confident in landscape drawing and painting, depicting depth and perspective.

The art materials are to be discussed during the first session of the course when the tutor will cover the topic.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
