Community Film Screenings

Welcome to a spring season of Relaxed Film Screenings at your local library.

Our popular Dementia Friendly Film Screenings continue with the quintessentially British Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit.  For train enthusiasts we have The Titfield Thunderbolt arriving in June and Elvis fans can get their fix in the summer holidays with Frankie & Johnny.  We are also returning to Beeston Library with a full programme of film beginning with the ever popular Dad's Army (2016).

Books have always made great films and we are excited to show The Wild Robot which brings Peter Brown's picture book to the big screen at Arnold Library.  Who knows, it may even be an Oscar winner this year!

Tickets for all of our Relaxed Screenings, Dementia Friendly or otherwise, cost just £1 per person and can be booked via Eventbrite.

Enjoy listening to music or singing?  Don't miss our Sing With Friends events at Mansfield Library and Sutton in Ashfield Library.  These are free and suitable for all.  Tea, biscuits and chat included.
