Community Film Screenings

Welcome one and all to a new spring season of Relaxed Film Screenings at your local library.

We are thrilled to announce our largest season of film ever!

Our popular Dementia Friendly Film Screenings continue with On The Town starring Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly.  Enjoy the music of Irving Berlin in Easter Parade and the charisma of Doris Day in Calamity Jane.  Journey across the desert with The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert or cross the channel with The Great Escaper starring Michael Caine and the late Glenda Jackson.

We have lots for families too starting with Encanto, followed by 101 Dalmatians and The Borrowers showing in the School Holidays.  Our legions of Lego fans can enjoy the Lego Batman Movie and journey into a 'world of pure imagination' with the smash-hit Wonka.

We are also bringing a brand-new sensory film experience to Mansfield with an artist-led showing of the Studio Ghibli classic My Neighbor Totoro. This has been adapted for an adult audience following successful children's events at MAC in Birmingham.

Tickets for all of our Relaxed Screenings, Dementia Friendly or otherwise, cost just £1 per person and can be booked via Eventbrite.

Enjoy listening to music or singing?  Don't miss our Sing With Friends events at Mansfield Library.  These are free and suitable for all.  Tea, biscuits and chat included.
