Carers Week at Inspire

Carers Week runs from the 5th to the 11th of June this year. It aims to raise awareness of caregiving, recognise the challenges that carers face, and acknowledge the valuable contribution they make to families and communities across the UK. This initiative is a collaborative effort between various organisations and individuals who support, organise events and emphasise the critical role of carers in society.

Despite their significant role, carers typically face challenges such as stress, isolation, financial strain, and lack of support. To provide proper assistance, carers may require respite care, emotional support, financial aid, and access to information and resources. It is crucial to recognise the valuable contribution of carers in society and provide them with the necessary support and resources to help them in their caring role.
