If the pandemic has inspired you to pursue a career in health or social care, but you’re not sure where to start, Inspire Adult Learning can help.

Our Access to Higher Education course in Health and Social Care is for you if you're considering a career in nursing, social work or occupational therapy, and you don't yet have the qualifications you need for university. Whether you’re looking to progress your career in the sector, or are seeking a complete career change, our fully accredited course can help you on your journey, whatever your level of experience.

The course is made up of various modules designed to prepare you for the demands of higher-level study. You'll be taught in a mature environment on a blended learning basis with experienced tutors who will support you every step of the way. Our current pass rate is 100% and our partners at Nottingham Trent University will be able to offer some students a pathway to Higher Education studies, where our Access to Health and Social Care course serves as a perfect stepping-stone for students to obtain a BA (Hons) Health and Social Care degree.

You don’t need GCSEs to apply as we help you study towards Maths and English if you don’t already have them. There’s also financial support available through an Advanced Learner Loan – we’ll even help you to apply, and your course will be free with no loan repayments if you progress to and complete a university course.

The Covid-19 pandemic has inspired thousands of people to pursue careers in the health and social care sector and support the incredible work our healthcare workers do, day in, day out. If you’re one of them, it’s not too late to enrol!

Not sure just yet? Why not book onto one of our introductory courses and see if health and social care is right for you. These relaxed, engaging courses are perfect if you want to gain an understanding of the care environment, including as procedures, equipment and communication skills.
