Crafts Council Announces the Selected Makers for the Seventh Year of Hothouse

Published 1st February 2017

Inspire is very pleased to be a supporter of Crafts Council Hothouse 2017, it is a privilege to host the very best makers and artists at our venues. The Hothouse programme was set up to assist new makers at the start of their career to develop creative businesses. Since 2011 Hothouse has supported over 200 individuals who have benefitted from a comprehensive programme that includes a two-day residential, six hours of 1:1 mentoring, monthly business development training days and a host of connections to a national network of makers and organisations.

There are 10 makers from around our region who successfully made it onto this year’s selection, we look forward to meeting them all and working with some of them in Inspire galleries in the future.
